Christ Church in Ottershaw is appealing for shoe boxes filled with small gifts, ready to be sent to Romanian children in time for Christmas.

Christ Church in Ottershaw is holding a harvest festival and parade service on Sunday October 4 at 10.30am.

Visitors to the church in Guildford Road are asked to take tins of food which will be given to the Salvation Army in Addlestone, for their Tin a Week collection.

Christ Church in Ottershaw are starting a five session programme on Wednesday February 25.

The church's Lent course will run on alternate Wednesdays and Thursdays from February 25, which will be based on 1 Corinthians 13, where they will hear its comparisons with modern times.

The Ottershaw vicar stepping down due to ill health, will carry out her last service on Sunday, July 6 before a farewell lunch.
Rev Bryony Davis is leaving Christ Church after a year, because she has chronic fatigue syndrome. Her final service will begin at 10.30am, and a leaving lunch will be held by churchwarden Lesley Matthews in Ferndale Avenue at 1pm.
