Posted by Emma Heseltine on Aug 24, 09 05:55 PM in Useful Info

An ambulance on an emergency call overturned by the McLaren roundabout on Saturday lunchtime.

Paramedics were on their way to back up another ambulance called to an accident in Woking.

As they travelled along Chertsey Road, the ambulance overturned, but no one was injured.

Another ambulance was scrambled to the emergency.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service, said: "A SECAM vehicle was involved in a road traffic collision at the McLaren roundabout at 12.40pm on Saturday August 22.

"No one was injured in the accident and the ambulance wasn't carrying anybody on board, but it was on the way to back up another vehicle on an emergency call.

"Obviously another ambulance was immediately sent out to the call this one had been going to."

We'd like to hear from you.
