Famous author talks to Otteshaw WI

Weybridge resident and author Adrienne Dines gave a talk to the Ottershaw WI on January 15.

The authoress talked of her school life in Ireland when she scandalised a nun by telling her she wanted to be a travelling storyteller when she grew up.

She told the meeting she moved to Weybridge in the 80s where she married and found her love of writing.

The next WI meeting will take place on Sunday February 15 at Brook Hall on Brox Road, Ottershaw.
