A developer is set to "cram" two bungalows and a house into an Ottershaw lane after being given planning permission on Wednesday August 27.
Councillors gave John Ebdon Homes Ltd permission to build the homes in Spratts Lane, Ottershaw, despite householders objections that they would lose privacy, suffer disturbance caused by lorries delivering building materials and that the land is a wildlife habitat.
A woman was dragged from her car on Friday after it flipped onto its roof in Addlestone.
The accident occurred in Spinney Hill, towards Ottershaw, when the driver swerved to avoid an oncoming car and lost control.

Four letters of objection have been received by the council, raising issues including loss of trees, potential of overbearing existing properties and pressure on local amenities.
A car wash to raise money for the 2nd Ottershaw Guides is being held by the group on Saturday September 6 between 10am and 3pm.
The event is being held at Ottershaw Memorial Fields, and the guides will be selling refreshments while customers wait.
All money raised will help pay for some of the trips that the guide leaders are planning next year.

Firefighters were called to Guildford Road in Ottershaw on Thursday (14) when a car overheated and caught fire.
Firefighters from Chertsey went out to the blaze at about 12.20pm, and put it out within half an hour.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Toddlers at Toad Hall Nursery in Brox Road, Ottershaw, will be walking half a mile on August 14 to raise money for children's charity Barnardo's.
The 17 children aged under five and staff will do the walk in fancy dress starting from the nursery as part of The Big Toddle 2008 organised by Barnardo's at nurseries all over the country throughout the summer.
